Today was our last day of drawing the theater. I shaded in the wooden panels - I tried to make them look like a different texture from everything else because of their wood. I also shaded in the metal doors and gray color strip on the ceiling where the pictures hang. I made sure for each of my shadings that I erased a part of the lead to make it look lighter or darker in certain areas. Lastly, I used a paper towel to smudge the lines together to make it create a more soft atmosphere. I also used the paper towel to smudge in a small amount of lead all over the page so nothing was left plain white in the drawing. I am actually really surprised with how well this came out. I was not expecting my drawing to be proportional and definitely not realistic looking. But, I really think i got my proportions right and my drawing looks pretty realistic.
